UX Meetups

I have presented at many Meetups over the years and hosted panel discussions. I currently organize for an international collection of Meetup groups focused on user experience. UXD Chicago is the premier group I work with, and I helped grow it to the largest Meetup in the midwest. Below are a few recordings of some of my favorite presentations.

Aligning UX Design with the Product Management Process

Learn how I used journey mapping to align my company’s UX research with the product management process, incorporating specific checkpoints where we pull in key stakeholders and clients to validate strategy, conduct research, and test our designs. I discuss how this has improved communication within my company, provided a deep understanding of what features are required to take an MVP product to market, and the improved the velocity of our engineering team.
